No qualifications. No silver spoon. I grew up in a council house in Glasgow, sharing a room with my brother. No one in my family had ever owned a home.
After eight years of dead-end retail I was skint and in debt. The day the debt collectors knocked was the day I'd had enough. I saved every penny for a PT course, filled my diary, and became the most in-demand coach in Glasgow. Cheryl and I opened The Glasgow PT Gym and grew it past 100 high-paying members. It bought me the first house anyone in my family had ever owned. Seven years after that knock at the door, we had two homes and full freedom.
